Remember that FRAME sizes and PAPER sizes are different, so if you (as an example) buy a A3 (29,7 x 42 cm) and want it in a 30 x 40 frame, it won't fit. (And in that case, you would have to cut it shorter.) If you can't find frames who fit paper sizes, it's recommended to buy a size larger than your prefered frame size. It's also suggested to use a matted frame / passepartout.
